Bílá Kráva – Try out unparalleled steaks served by great staff

Unrivalled steaks and friendly and knowledgeable personnel, these words are often associated with restaurant Bílá Kráva, whose motto is “You know what you eat, you know what you drink”.

Let’s start with the motto. Since the very beginnings, the restaurant aimed to provide customers with top quality beef meat dishes coupled with several French meals, and that’s why they cooperated with local Czech breeders. Now it has been over a decade since the establishment of the restaurant, but the only thing that changed is their menu, which was enriched with lamb and goose dishes. Let’s keep in mind that the animals are all bred in local farms. Now you probably have an idea why the motto is the way it is – because you know precisely what you eat and drink.

The interior of Bílá Kráva is unique in its own way as it might seem a little old-fashioned, however it is still well-maintained. The whole interior primarily consists of wooden furniture and with its style is slightly resembling a pub.

As for the personnel, they are vastly knowledgeable and are always able to help choosing right meals for you. On top of that, they are all very friendly, so you will feel even more relaxed and comfortable being there.

But enough of talk, if you are a steak lover, then definitely give this a try!

I have no words for this restaurant. We visited the restaurant during the “Grand restaurants” event and we were absolutely satisfied. Those were the best steaks I have ever eaten, and trust me, I have eaten lots of them throughout my lifetime. Beef hearts and homemade desserts were also great. Waitress Lenka was very friendly and kind so you didn’t feel like you were annoying her.

French cuisine belongs among one of the most popular and renowned cuisines in the world, which significantly influenced numerous other cuisines in the history. France also formed grande (haute) cuisine which is a term relating to serving top-class meals in luxurious restaurants for high prices. The cuisine slightly differs from region to region as it depends on local conditions, ingredients and location.

Among the main ingredients are considered various meats, such as lamb or veal, fish, seafood, vegetables, dairy products, mainly cheese, herbs and pastry, such as baguettes. Moreover, French cuisine is immensely famous for its wines, which are rated as one of the best wines in the world. As an example serve wines such as Chardonnay, Cabaret Savignon or Merlot.

When it comes to famous and renowned dishes, it could be Soupe à l’oignon which is a traditional soup made of onions and beef and cheese on top, Ratatouille which is an iconic
